Artisan Studio
Artisan Studio is where I got my start as an artist and an educator. I took lessons with Marlene, the incredible owner of this establishment, when I was 7, and found my way back to her several years ago. I began as a volunteer, an office assistant, and eventually worked my way up to an instructor. Through this wonderful family, I have gotten to work with many special needs students, as well as see some of my kids grow up as individuals and artists. Anyone looking for supplementary art education in the Marlboro area should look into this studio, since there is truly nothing else like it. If you want a nurturing after school activity that prides itself on the educational value of it's lessons, this is the place to go.
Art Affiliations
Both of these art organizations are wonderful resources for art educators in New Jersey and across the nation. I am a proud member of both!

Other Resources
These educational resources are invaluable when it comes to lesson making. When I'm looking for contemporary artist information or lesson plans, this is where I go.

Art Standards
All of my lessons apply age appropriate art standards, as well as educational standards from other disciplines.
