Community Development
Involvement with Girl Scouts
I've been involved with the Girl Scout community in my area for some time now. I've gone from member to volunteer, and there is no better organization for the development of friendship and self esteem amongst young girls. I recently ran an art event for a troop from Old Bridge through my current employer, Artisan Studio. Here is the mural we created after talking about how to show mood, how to paint realistically, and how to paint without a brush. The girls did a fantastic job and hope to donate their collaborative creation to a children's hospital.
Habitat for Humanity

I've had many experiences with Habitat for Humanity and each one is more rewarding than the next. In 2009, I was the chapter leader for my High School and I am still involved with this chapter through fundraising and building under West Monmouth Habitat for Humanity. The current goal of this chapter is the relief of Hurricane Sandy, as many of our members were personally affected.
Reaching out the the Elderly
I recently got involved with the senior citizen community in my area, as a guest at a home care hospice event in Monroe Village. We celebrated across generations, inspiring young social workers in the making to connect with the senior community. Below is a sample of the scrap-booking/paper weaving project we created to show different generations in one piece.
